Thank you for reading the inaugural edition of Raider Pride. We want to welcome you to Stevens High School and the Stevens Booster Club. Joining your Stevens Booster Club is an investment in your child's school environment and the activities that make them a well-rounded person. The Stevens Booster Club is interested in supporting the academic, athletic & fine arts oriented activities that are an integral part of our students' growth and development. We generate funds through three main sources: 1) The Rushmore Bowl; 2) Concession sales from Carold Heier Gym; 3) Raider Gear sales. One-hundred percent of the funds raised are returned to the school in the form of student activities- Post Prom, Homecoming, Student Appreciation efforts. We also inform our membership -Newsletter, Website, Membership Development, Parent Academy, and more. We make annual funding awards based upon applications for financial assistance from school activities for items such as clinics, equipment and apparel, student activity travel and many other applications. Additionally, we have invested heavily in our school by contributing significantly to projects like the new weight room, replacement of the gym floor, sound

systems, motivational speakers, and investment for the school's future needs. Being a part of the Stevens Booster Club gives you an opportunity to support and be involved in the primary Stevens parent organization. It is a worthwhile program that benefits your child and other Stevens High School youth. You can express your opinion via involvement in the Club and maintain an inside track on information that relates to the SBC, the school, and its activities. Plus, you will form and enjoy relationships with other parents in the Stevens Booster Club family. As parents, we should be the loudest and strongest supporters of our children. We should attend the games, see the plays, hear the band. Let's make their school years memorable in a positive way. Help with Homecoming, assist with Post Prom, join with other parents to strengthen relationships with the students, the school administration, the faculty & the community. It will enrich your kids' life. Please join us in making these things happen while also making your students high school years a huge success, full of good memories.
